How Store Pages Templates and [slp_pages] Work

Available In: WordPress Store Locator Plus™ with the Power add on.
Not yet available  SLP  Managed Store Locator Plus™ (MySLP) service.

Showing A List Of Pages — Full Content

[slp_pages style=”full” no_map=”1″ pages_directory_entry_css_class=”slp_page location_details col-xs-12″]
Because there is not template specified it will display the “full” (entire/complete) SEO page.    Login to the WP site and go to Store Pages as admin, click on any page.  What you see there is what you’ll get on the page list output.
That means when we add descriptions to SEO pages (either manually editing the SEO page OR with some new description magic in development today) the ENTIRE page will show up.

Phone Extension Dialer

included with MySLP Enterprise and/or WPSLP Premier.

Employ telephone dialer links with extension pauses by turning on the Use Dial Link For Phone option and setting the Phone Extension Delimiter option.

When both are enabled the links for phone numbers are set to the defacto tel: hyperlink and if a phone number contains the text specified by the Phone Extension Delimiter option it will insert a long pause at that point before continuing to dial.

This method uses the oft-support comma placeholder, adding two commas to extend the pause to allow for slower phone systems to catch up and wait for the extension to be entered.

This output behavior will appear on results under the map, directory landing pages, and store pages.

Creating A List Of Location Pages [slp_pages]

This feature is available with an active Premier Subscription only.

Create a list of location pages, the Store Pages created by the Pages option of the Power add on, requires version 4.5 or later of the Power add on with the Pages option enabled.

Listing location pages is done by adding the [slp_pages] shortcode to your WordPress page or post.   Only published Store Pages are shown.   By default new pages created via the Manage Locations interface are created in ‘draft’ mode.

The Store Page [storepage] Shortcode

The [storepage] shortcode is used by the Pages and Power add ons to render live location data on a location (store) page.     The template is set under the Pages / Settings tab in the Initial Page Features group via the Page Template setting.

The [storepage] Shortcode

By default the [storepage] shortcode does not output any content.   You need to use one of the following attributes to generate location-specific output.

Attributes

  • class – augments the tag attribute with the specified CSS class
  • field – specify which location field to display
  • hard_coded_value – output the text in the wrapper
  • map – show a map with the location marker
  • post – output the WordPress post attributes for the page
  • tag – wrap the output with the specified HTML tag
  • title – output a title for list of pages
  • type – specify the type (style) for the output

Generating Store Pages

Included in WPSLP Power.

Create data-driven WordPress pages for each location in your Store Locator Plus locations table.   The layout that builds the initial pages can be modified and pages created, or re-created, en- masse.   Once the initial Store Pages have been created they can be modified on a per-location basis.

To get started you must first Enable Pages.
