Load Locations from WordPress Locator to MYSLP®

Load locations does not replace the csv file import functionality available to the Professional or Enterprise level plan subscribers but it  can be used to  load basic location data from your WordPress Store Locator Plugin (such as WP Store Locator Plus®,) into your MYSLP  account. It will not load category tables.

This functionality can be found from the MYSLP account, the SLP sidebar tab and under Locations as shown in the screenshot below.

The  loader supports loading locations from WordPress sites running the WordPress Store Locator Plus plugin.   If you are using a locator or directory plugin other than Store Locator Plus, please contact us to discuss the possibility of beta testing if it does not load.

Store Locator Plus INFO Plug-in Environment

Plug-in environment

We often have questions posted from users asking why something is or is not working. The information needed to be able to assist them properly and efficiently is shown under the SLP/INFO tab. It is called the Plugin environment.

Plugin environment example

What is meant by the  Plugin Environment.

The plugin environment shows the versions of Store Locator Plus, and any active SLP add-ons you have installed, as well as the WordPress version, php version, MYSQL , the domain name and other useful data specific to the WPSLP environment.

This information is required when posting in forums. You can also  find the latest release versions under your account Downloads List, and/or review the Versions under the Support tab on the WordPress Store Locator Plus  home site  to see if you have the most recent version of Store Locator Plus and the various add-on packs.

Search Form Style

Search Form Style sets the styling for the interactive locator elements on your site.   It uses pre-built jQuery Theme Roller style CSS designs to create a simple way to style interactive elements such as the autocomplete feature (available in WPSLP Experience or with MySLP Professional) on the address box. with Experience or Professional level plan additional search elements are available, including a one click checkbox to “Hide the search form”  altogether.

The default styling is set to “None” which provides not special styling rules from interactive JavaScript elements in the locator interface.   This allows the site designer to create their own styles for the website in which the locator will be placed.

Default styling for autocomplete is “none”.  The theme in this example does not specifiy any ui-autocomplete styling. The background inherits the transparent background used by the website as the default for all divs.

The base service also includes the Base jQuery theme.

For WordPress plugin users go to the Store Locator Plus selection on the sidebar menu.

For MySLP users go to Store Locator Plus sidebar menu.

Select Settings/Search from the tab list.

What To Buy : Rank Hide Import 10K Locations With Products Offered

Question: I would like to use your plugin to add location searching to my site. I would like to be able to rank and even possibly remove locations from the search results.  Also, each location offers different products of mine. So, if a user selects a product and a zip code I would like to show them locations that offer the product they are looking for ranked in order of my ranking system. I have many locations (10k +). Can you please let me know what add-ons I will need to accomplish my goals? I definitely need to be able to upload CSV.
